Full Root-level Access in VPS Servers
If you purchase a VPS servers from us, you'll have full root-level access in three cases - if the server has no hosting Control Panel at all, or in case you select cPanel or DirectAdmin throughout the order process. In the first case, you'll be able to change each part of the system using a Secure Shell console, while in the second, you can still use SSH to connect and to make changes, but you'll also have a graphical interface at your disposal to control your online content and most of the system settings. The root access makes our virtual server plans an excellent choice when you wish to run any software that you can't install in an ordinary shared web hosting account. With the last Control Panel option - Hepsia, you'll be able to connect via SSH and to control the content on the server, however, the root access privileges are more limited.
Full Root-level Access in Dedicated Servers
You'll have full root-level access to your dedicated server regardless of what package you select during the registration process, as long as the server is provided with cPanel or DirectAdmin, or with no website hosting Control Panel at all. In all of these three cases, you are able to update any part of the software environment in any way you see fit, which makes our server packages ideal for resource-demanding applications with specific requirements that cannot be covered if you use a shared website hosting account. The difference between these options is that when you select cPanel or DirectAdmin, you'll have a web-based graphical interface to manage a variety of server-side options as well as any website content which you create or upload, while when you order the server devoid of Control Panel, you'll have to perform everything using a Secure Shell console or to install a Control Panel of your liking, provided that it is compatible with the OS that you've chosen throughout the registration process. With the last Control Panel option that you'll be able to pick on our order page - Hepsia, the root access will be restricted.
