Custom Error Pages in Hosting
You can set up personalized error pages for each of your websites effortlessly if you use any of our Linux hosting. This can easily be done from the Hosted Domains part of the Hepsia CP, provided with all accounts as soon as you go there, you can set your custom made pages independently for any domain or subdomain. You must upload the files to your account beforehand and enter the links to them through the process. This function can be de-activated anytime and the options you will be able to pick from are a conventional page from our system or a default Apache server page. Personalized error pages can be set with an .htaccess file too. The file should be placed in the domain or subdomain folder and it should incorporate some system code and links to the pages. Custom Error Pages in Semi-dedicated Servers
Incorporating your personal pages for each of the 4 error types to any site hosted from a semi-dedicated server account with us will be very easy and will not take more than a couple of mouse clicks. As soon as you upload the files in your account, you could go to the Hosted Domains section of your Hepsia Control Panel and edit the domains and subdomains listed there using an intuitive interface with drop-down navigation. You can pick what page should show up for each error type. The choices are a default Apache server page or a page from our system, and custom pages. In case you select the abovementioned option, you need to enter the link to every page in your account, then save the change. The link or the kind of page which appears in case a user encounters an error can be changed whenever you want. In case you’re more experienced, you may use an .htaccess file in order to set personalized error pages too, as an alternative to using our integrated generator instrument, and if you choose this option, the file must be placed inside the root directory of a given domain or subdomain.
